I liked this book right up to the ending... and then it just died. I have read, bought and really liked the whole series and while I understand that not all stories can have a happy ending it seems here that the author just got tired and wanted to conclude it... leaving many possible continuation threads hanging. In some places it plodded through unnecessary detail and in others it rushed to conclude plot lines finishing with the bad guys triumphing and the heroine walking away . Very surprised. Really like this author and generally his work is excellent.
