This is a great book if you only like white walls. The chapter labeled “The power of color” includes 26 white rooms and one child’s room with tan wallpaper and neutral toys. I’m bummed that this is so full of the same look over and over and over. While I adore the staples on each page of this book: Caramel leather. Navy couch. Baskets. Wood. Vintage rugs. Brass. Bent wood. Neutral textures. White bricks. Touch of black. All of these are great, but a little variety is missed. I would hope that there would be some striking variations or, as the book promises, collected interiors for all sorts of styles. This is a book for only one style: white painted houses. Lovely, but not a stunner.
